The M12 also has the ability to detect and navigate up stairs thanks to its built-in inclinometer. 5. Eufy S1 Pro
The Eufy S1 Pro has been designed to be an efficient vacuum and mop combo that is also user-friendly. The gunmetal base station automatically fills its own tank with clean water, then empty the dust bin into a smaller container, and ishes and drys its own mop pads during cleaning sessions. It drives close to walls without hitting them and avoiding steps, and it also automatically raises its mop when driving over rugs or carpets with a short pile. It had a difficult time when it encountered longer-pile carpets, and there were a few large, thick piles of dried-on debris.
Like most robots that are available, the S1 Pro comes ready to come out of the box, and requires only an initial mapping session to figure out how it can navigate your home. Once it's done the map will be displayed in the app and rooms can be added or merged as needed. You can also design virtual boundaries, no-go zones and no-mop areas if you don't wish the robot to touch specific objects.

The S1 Pro is a great choice for homes with flooring of both types, as it can mop and vacuum. However, its reliance on a Eufy-branded cleaning system (which is included in the box) makes it less flexible than other robots that allow you to create your own solutions. Its ability to mop and vacuum makes it an excellent choice for homes that have two types of flooring.
